Compatible with the optional LP-1/FC35 three-pedal unit. *We recommend connecting the FC35 pedal unit to the P-225 with the L-200 optional stand attached. Connecting the FC35 to a P-225 placed on a desk will place pressure on the FC35 cable, which may damage the cable. Accordingly, we ask that you refrain from using the FC35 with a P-225 placed on a desk.

To achieve a smaller product chassis, we developed the new GHC (Graded Hammer Compact) keyboard (88 keys), which is built to uncompromising standards and offers the same weighted acoustic piano-like playing feel as the GHS (Graded Hammer Standard) keys used in previous models in the P Series.
The P-225 features the sounds of Yamaha’s premier concert grand piano, the CFX, and this model uses Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM) Lite technology to replicate the expressive moment-by-moment tonal changes that occur in a real grand piano.

Of course, this instrument doesn’t require tuning.
